President Barack Obama Took Over ‘The Colbert Report’ Last Night
"Stephen, you've been taking a lot of shots at my job, I decided I'm going to go ahead and take a shot at yours."
'The Colbert Report' host Stephen Colbert has been teasing his biggest show ever for awhile now, including a stopover in Washington, D.C. and a long-form chat with President Barack Obama, but even he can't possibly have foreseen how that event would turn out. Essentially, it resulted in the talk show host losing his job...to President Obama, who swept on to stage and hijacked the show from an aghast -- but totally willing -- Colbert, only to put his own spin on what it means to host a political chat show. Does Colbert have something to worry about? We vote yes.

Jennifer Lawrence Took Over For Dave Letterman as Host of ‘The Late Show’
Here is a brief list of things that happened during Jennifer Lawrence's appearance on 'The Late Show' last night: she sang with host David Letterman, the duo discussed tummy troubles, they chatted about bowling, they both totally biffed introducing a clip, Lawrence begged Letterman to not retire, they walked out during a live taping, and then Lawrence took over the entire show.
Watch Jennifer Garner Absolutely Own ‘Tonight Show’ Catchphrase
Jennifer Garner is extremely good at Catchphrase. The 'Men, Women & Children' actress hit 'The Tonight Show' last night to chat about a variety of things -- from her new film to, oops, that one time her entire family got head lice -- but she really hit her stride when it was time to play Catchphrase with host Jimmy Fallon.
‘Gone Girl': 14 Differences Between the Book and the Movie
Bestselling author Gillian Flynn may have penned the script for the very first film based on one of her novels -- David Fincher's 'Gone Girl' -- but that doesn't mean that the writer balked at slicing and dicing her own work. We've known for a quite some time (since January, when Fincher's film was the cover story on Entertainment Weekly, to be precise) that Flynn had changed her own story for the big screen, with a big emphasis placed on mixing around the feature's third act.
‘Magic Mike 2′ Casts Amber Heard; Learn How You Too Can Score a Role
Matthew McConaughey may not be back for more super-sized 'Magic Mike 2' action, as the head honcho from the original feature won't be returning for whatever delights its sequel holds for us, but the film is lining up a very, ahem, eclectic cast so far.
Watch the Bill Hader Impression That ‘SNL’ Would Not Air
Former 'SNL' head writer Seth Meyers has made it his business to bring some of those sketches cut from 'SNL' to his own 'Late Night' show, and the results have so far been uproarious. While Will Forte's cut bit got the full sketch treatment a few months ago, Bill Hader didn't need those same bells and whistles. After all, his snipped sketch just involved him putting on a weirdly nuanced impression of '60 Minutes' anchor Bob Simon.
Watch Conan O’Brien’s Touching Live Tribute to Robin Williams
During the taping of last night's 'Conan,' the heartbreaking news of Robin Williams' passing was announced. Instead of ignoring the news or saving it for tomorrow or not acknowledging it, host Conan O'Brien took it upon himself to share it with a shocked studio audience, sidekick Andy Richter, and guest Will Arnett.
’50 Shades of Grey’ Trailer Prank: Jimmy Fallon Freaks Out The Roots
The '50 Shades of Grey' trailer is alternately steamy and scary, but late-night host Jimmy Fallon wasn't content to show it to his house band, the one and only Roots, as is. Nope, that thing needed to be modified just a touch, to really make sure that the band was paying the proper attention to their trailer-watching assignment. So the 'Tonight Show' host did what anyone would do -- he inserted a scary scream face into the middle of the trailer. Obvious, right?
Comic-Con 2014: ‘Godzilla 2′ Officially Announced; Three New Monsters Revealed
Perhaps this time we will let "our hero" Godzilla get some actual rest before dispatching him to battle the world's other major MUTOs? Is that too much to ask? We've known for months that Legendary is eager to stay in the 'Godzilla' business after the success of this summer's awesome Gareth Edwards' feature film -- after all, they did announce a sequel to the film within days of it hitting the big screen -- but there have been plenty of lingering questions as to when that would happen and who (or what) we could expect to see in the next feature.
Dana Carvey Is Still the ‘Master of Disguise’ in Jimmy Fallon’s ‘Wheel of Impressions’
'SNL' alum Dana Carvey swung by 'The Tonight Show' the other night, and host Jimmy Fallon couldn't resist asking the funnyman to do some impressions -- with a twist, of course. Using not one, but two "Wheel of Impression" spinners, Fallon determined who Carvey would imitate and what he would talk about. Too bad those things seemed weighted towards Al Pacino. Now that's weird, wild stuff.
This is How Kiefer Sutherland Coined His ’24’ Catchphrase
"Dammit!"
Jimmy Fallon might sound a bit like Pee Wee Herman when he screams out Jack Bauer's '24' catchphrase on his 'Tonight Show,' but that doesn't detract from the power of star Kiefer Sutherland's signature yelled expletive. The '24: Live Another Day' star took to the late night chat show last night to talk all things dramatic and ticky-clocked, and Fallon couldn't help but inquire
