I was born and bred here in Colorado. I grew up in Longmont, graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins back in 2003, (Go Rams!) and have been working in radio here ever since. I have a wonderful wife, two pembroke welsh corgis, and a daughter that came into this world in 2012. I love being a part of this Northern Colorado community and all that it has to offer. I have a penchant for hot wings, scooters, super heroes and all things ‘geeky.’ But I'll try just about anything to keep life exciting. (Except for seafood. Never liked it, never will.) Words to live by: "If you can laugh at yourself, you'll never cease to be amused.”

Does a nap on the floor count as co-sleeping?

6 Infant Deaths Lead Larimer & Weld County Health Officials To Say ‘No’ To Co-Sleeping

I just read an article in the Coloradoan saying that a string of infant suffocations has led Northern Colorado health officials to warn parents not to sleep in the same bed with their babies. (Co-sleeping as many call it.) However, many parents think that co-sleeping is an integral part of creating a strong bond with their kids.

I can see health officials wanting kids to be safe, and I can see parents who believe in co-sleeping being upset that health officials are saying they are being "unsafe parents." The debate is on.
