One of the favorite free events of the summer is coming up this weekend.  Art in the Park runs from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, August 10 and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, August 11 at North Lake Park, 2800 N. Taft Avenue in Loveland. This is the 49th year of the gathering which makes it one of the oldest art festivals in Colorado. This year a change bans all manufactured items.  All the crafts are handmade in the USA. by over 200 fine artists and craftspeople. Their work includes pottery, painting, clothing, metalwork, jewelry and many other items of inventive art and fine crafts.Art in the Park runs in conjunction with Sculpture in The Park and The Sculpture Invitational. Together, these shows bring some of the best artists in the country together as well as attracting visitors from all over the world.
