Are you Superstitious? Get Ready for More 13’s in 2012

Ok; we survived Friday the 13th, but I just found out we have a total of three Friday the 13th's this year. The next April the 13th then another July 13th.

The guy who keeps track of this stuff, yes there is a guy. Dr. 13 is, Tom Fensler a math professor at the University of Delaware.

He said most years have only two Friday the 13th's while 2011 had only one and we'll have three in 2012.

And here's another fact that Dr. 13 likes pointing out, each occurrence this year is spaces by 13 weeks, the first time since 1984.

The fear of Friday the 13th is called friggatriskaidekaphobia (Frigga being the name of the Norse goddess for whom "Friday" is named and triskaidekaphobia meaning fear of the number thirteen.
