Arapahoe Basin First Colorado Resort to Open in 2013!

Arapahoe Basin became the first resort to allow skiers and riders to board the lift and make some turns in 2013. The Basin opened 4 days earlier than last year's October 17 opening, and 1 day earlier than my prediction.

Loveland Ski Area is expected to open sometime this week, though no date has been posted on their website at the time of publishing this blog post.
