American Idol [VIDEO]

A really interesting night on American Idol last night. Several of the performers did not take the advice of producers Jimmy Iovine and will i. am. Instead they decided to step out and try different songs than those recommended. It made for some unique moments.

Certainly the most risky, but also most unique was Casey Abrahms doing "Nature Boy" by Nat King Cole. The jazzy arrangement was something entirely different for the Idol audience. You can hear it below. I've also posted Jacob Lusk's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and Scotty McCreery's "Cross my heart."

Tonight Kelly Clarkson returns with Jason Aldean to perform along with Rhianna.
