A new study says that twelve percent of Americans are willing to skip paying bills like utilities, car payments and even their mortgage or rent, so they could go on a great vacation according to Fox News. While financial experts from J.D. Roth, would never recommend not paying your bills. They do state the importance of spending money on what you are passionate about, like vacations. They recommend cutting back on items and things that you deem "less important" that you can do without. Some of the most common things people feel they could do without in order to save up for a great vacation is alcohol, cigarettes and coffee. Others said they would even consider downgrading their personal electronics.
