Check out this amazing video captured of a rescue along Lefthand Canyon by the U.S. Army 4th Infantry Division out of Fort Carson for people stranded in the mountains after the Colorado flooding.

That video was shared by 9News on Facebook. Here's slightly longer version of the same rescue from KDVR of the raw video footage. The videos are both titled as the National Guard airlifting stranded Jamestown residents.

Kudos to any and all service men and women working to get people to safety.

As you can see by these videos, these helicopter recues are no "walk in the park".  It's not easy to recuse people stuff  in rugged terrain. My hat goes off to all of the military and emergency personnel getting our people to safety. I  don't think "thanks" even begins to cover it, but it's a start.
