Still Life With Woodpecker by Tom Robbins not only explores ideas of social justice, twinkies and pyramids, it also talks about the rarity of redheadedness, and what it means to be bedazzled with red hair.

It also made Princess Leigh Cherie one of my all time literary crushes. It also taught me that Thomas Jefferson is a red head, and that having red hair is quite rare.
