Adele's '21' was a massive worldwide success, despite its heavy lyrical content about breakups and failed relationships. Now pregnant with her first child, Adele is planning for her next album to be much "lighter," according to an Us magazine source.

"It will be lighter than her last ode to break up," an insider told the magazine, via Metro. "The pregnancy has had a big impact on her songwriting." The source added, "She is lying low and focusing on becoming a mum. The baby is healthy and she’s so excited."

The new direction should be no surprise, since '21' was inspired by a tumultuous breakup. Now she's in a great relationship and has a bundle of joy on the way. She's even spent $50,000 on a nursery to make sure the baby is comfortable and safe. What will happy Adele sound like? We can't wait to find out.

In June, Adele posted a message on her website informing fans that she was expecting a baby with boyfriend Simon Konecki. Since then, she has stayed out of the spotlight, though she was spotted at Abbey Road Studios, reportedly recording the theme to the next James Bond film 'Skyfall' with 'Rolling in the Deep' producer Paul Epworth. This news has since been confirmed, with Adele officially taking on singing duties for the next 'Bond' flick. Let's see if she can top Shirley Bassey!
