Accident Alert in Northern Colorado

Fort Collins, Larimer and Weld counties are on accident alert this morning after a freezing drizzle coated many roadways with a thin layer of ice.

Accident alert means drivers who are involved in motor vehicle accidents with minor damage that do not involve an injury or suspected alcohol or drug use should exchange names, addresses, telephone numbers, vehicle license-plate numbers and insurance information, according to the release.
Each driver then has four days to complete an accident report
