2017 Greeley Stampede Survival Guide – What’s New and What to Watch For
The 2017 Greeley Stampede is about to begin, and we're excited about all the great entertainment happening this year! But what else do you need to know about?
From the different concerts taking the stage at this year's big event, to where all the different restrooms are located (with changing tables), it's good to know all the in's and out's before you walk into the park.
So here we are with the second edition of our "Greeley Stampede Survival Guide", which will give you all the great information you need to have an enjoyable experience from start to finish.
Check all of this out, map out your day, and enjoy what the Greeley Stampede is offering in 2017! We think you'll walk away from the event knowing that they had you and your family in mind with all the planning over the last year!
I know what it's like when you bring your family to different events, especially when you have younger children. As soon as you walk in, one of them needs to use the bathroom but you don't know where they are. Well the Greeley Stampede has some of the cleanest restrooms at any festival I have seen, and there are plenty throughout the entire park. With four bathrooms outside the Stampede Arena and two located right next to the arena, you have many options. Plus the Stampede has moms with babies in mind each year, as they have the UC Health Lactation Station at the Buckle Club!
The 2017 Kids Korral has many activities for kids of all ages to take part in. How about some of these options to keep your children busy:
- The "Innovation Station" which includes new hands-on activities focusing on science, technology, engineering, and math
- Racing Ducks and Frisbee Dogs
- Face Painting and Balloon Making
- Sheep Stampede
- Sand Box
The Greeley Stampede are offering the new 40'x100' shopping tent known as the "Mercantile"! It will be located on D Street between the Food Court and the Kids Korral. It will be your chance to buy western apparel and footwear as well as jewelry and home goods.
The 4th of July fireworks this year will take place at approximately 9:30 pm on the 4th of July, following the Neal McCoy show on the Extraction Stage. Wherever you are at the Greeley Stampede, you'll get a good view of the fireworks as they take off over the north west corner of Island Grove Park.
The Greeley Stampede welcomes the new "Faith and Family Night" on Sunday, June 25th with headliner TobyMac taking the Stampede Arena stage at 8 pm. Tickets are still available for the night which you can bet will be a great show for everyone in your family!
American bull fighting is at this year's Greeley Stampede, with the show happening on Sunday, June 25th starting at 1 pm! This event will make everyone in your family sit on the edge of their seats as the bull fighters attempt death defying feats that not everyone can do. There will also be a performance by local musician Bryan Thomas during the event!
Tickets are still available but limited for Toby Keith. So if you want your tickets to that show, we can't stress enough that they should be bought right now. Tickets are going quick but are still available for Chase Rice, Clay Walker, LoCash, and the Barenaked Ladies which will all be entertaining shows from start to finish.
There is still so much more going on at the Greeley Stampede, and here is the full schedule you'll need!
