The USA Pro Challenge bicycle race is returning to Northern Colorado on August 22nd.

Stage 6 of the 2015 race Stage 6 starts at The Ranch Events Complex in Loveland and finishes in Old Town Fort Collins.

The course is 104 miles and will take racers through Windsor, downtown Loveland, Carter Lake, Masonville, Buckhorn Canyon and Horsetooth Reservoir before heading down Rist Canyon and finishing in Old Town.

  • Stage 1 - Steamboat Springs Circuit - Monday, August 17
  • Stage 2 - Steamboat Springs to Arapahoe Basin - Tuesday, August 18
  • Stage 3 - Copper Mountain to Aspen - Wednesday, August 19
  • Stage 4 - Aspen to Breckenridge - Thursday, August 20
  • Stage 5 - Breckenridge Time Trial - Friday, August 21
  • Stage 6 - Loveland to Ft. Collins - Saturday, August 22
  • Stage 7 - Golden to Denver - Sunday, August 23

The race came through Northern Colorado in 2013, but stayed away for a year so the area could recover from the floods. Here are some pictures from the last time the race was in our neighborhood. My Wife and I took most of the pictures in Windsor and at Horsetooth Reservoir.
