The annual Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival is happening on August 21-22, bringing live music and entertainment, local vendors, fun competitions, and of course – a plethora of roasted and boiled corn to the town of Loveland.

This traditional town event has been taking place ever since 1984, and is the largest community gathering of the year. Get your fix of delicious Colorado corn by snacking on some during the festival, or buying some ears to take home with you to savor later on. When purchasing, it will cost two tokens per ear of corn. On Friday, only roasted corn will be sold to guests, but come Saturday, both roasted and boiled corn will be available for purchase. Plus, all of the corn being sold is GMO free!

The main events of the festival will be held at 4th Street and Railroad Avenue. Below is a complete schedule of the two-day Corn Roast Festival:

Those who can't make it out to this corn-filled event will definitely be thinking, "Aw, shucks," after seeing all the fun that is to be had by all ages. Sorry that was corny, but I just couldn't resist.
