As of early this afternoon the city of Greeley is reporting the following important, need to know information:

SHELTERS:

  • Red Cross Shelter assisted over 51 people overnight, primarily residents of Evans. The shelter is not collecting donations at this time, the city is asking that you call 2-1-1 for information on donations. (The shelter is located at the Greeley Rec Center, 651 10th Ave)

ROAD CLOSURES:

Due to the fact that we are now getting more rain the road closure are extremely variable. Things are changing by the minute. We are keeping up a complete list of the road closures HERE and are updating it whenever we are informed that a road opens or closes.

WARNINGS:

  • Do NOT cross barricades
  • Stay clear of the rivers and waterways
  • The Poudre River Trail is closed through Greeley, do NOT use the trail

EVACUATIONS:

  • Mandatory evacuations are in place for the Spanish Colony and the River Park Mobile Home Park

WATER:

THE WATER IS SAFE TO DRINK IN GREELEY, There are no problems with any of the Greeley water systems. However there is a sewage problem in the city of Evans.
