Update 1 p.m., Monday, Sept. 29: According to the Coloradoan, Fort Collins Police have confirmed that the man was shot in the head following an early morning argument between at least two people.

The Fort Collins Police have also identified the name of the man who was shot, and is still being hospitalized. He is Jalen Marquise Robinson.

The investigation is still ongoing and police are struggling to identify the suspect, though they do have witnesses to the verbal argument.

Sunday morning, September 28, residents in the area of Avocet Road and Eagle Drive in Fort Collins reported to police that they heard gun shots being fired at 2:42 a.m.
Police responded to the shooting, however, the 19-year-old man who was hit by that gun fire was transported by a personal vehicle to the local hospital. Reports are saying that the victim was shot in the head and is currently being treated for his injuries. They have not released to the public what local hospital the teen is being treated at. The investigation is ongoing and the police have not released a description of the suspect.
