A Gypsum, Colo. boy has been arrested and charged with first degree murder of his father, according to Fox 31 Denver.

The father was supposed to meet April 30th with sheriff’s deputies about a graffiti dispute involving his son, but he never showed.

On Monday, the father’s employer told sheriff’s investigators that the son had called in several days in a row saying the father was sick and would not be coming into work, said Lt. Mike McWilliam, Undersheriff with the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office. The employer seemed suspicious and deputies decided to perform a wellness check at the man’s home.
